It took a long time to learn but later in life I finally realized that breakups usually happened for good reasons. The few times I rekindled an old romance, it didn't take long for me to say to myself, "Now I remember why we split." The exceptions being when I was given my walking papers when I wanted to keep going (Sally L. in post #58).
