having problems saving attachments
#1
I was trying to save a morph that Kopy did in his morph thread but it tries to save the file with the file name 'image' is there some setting to be changed that I do not know about. I am running Firefox (latest version) if that helps.

UPDATE:

It only seems to happen in KK's morph thread if I try to save any attachment I get this pop up:

but any other forum I get the file name. I asked a fellow user who I was chatting with on Yahoo to go to the same thread and he said he got the file name not 'image' so it is a bit of a puzzle so any help would be appreciated.

I noticed you appear to be in Windows 7 or later, and you get image.jpg with _any_ browser. I'm on Windows XP, Opera and I get the same thing. It probably just how the systems works. You'll just have manually rename the file as you save them.

Concerning Chrome, when you save a file with the same name, it won't prompt you to overwrite it, it will just append a counter at the end of the file (1), (2), (3), etc etc. Try it out.
