What is your opinion of AI generated NSFW or cheese cake image content?  I’m limiting it to just that subtopic due to its complexity and legal aspects as a whole.   I’m kinda conflicted.  I like a lot of the ones I have seen and I know someone that does use it as a tool but puts effort into it making edits of stars from the 90’s and making there boobs huge and some made hardcore.

The conflict I have is when it’s takes away from those in the industry already struggling. That includes the wafiu or chat ones. Though I have used an app to mirror me talking to Sigmund Freud and Socrates. (Was chatting with Socrates about Diogenes picking on Plato. That was fun).

I have a friend that is a lawyer that works in fighting for sex workers rights (content creators, pornstars and behind the scenes crew, artists, escorts etc) and I read articles he posts on the dangers of when it comes to that industry.

I use tools in the past to make complex images (most fantasy and horror art for a card game hobby I have) but it takes hours to make an image.  I use my phone only and most of the work doesn’t involve AI.

What do you think?
In my professional life, I work with data, algorithms and ai. I tend to think that if the algos are used in an ethical way that isn't explicitly hurting anyone, then I am all about it. In my personal life, I've used ai to explore my creative side - writing, AI art, etc etc. I've enjoyed the experience thus far, and even, generally, enjoy what ai art others share.

I think things like deepfakes, and using ai for manipulative purposes are wrong. But I also think that it's fairly easy to scapegoat ai for the hardtimes. No offense meant here - but is there a direct link to AI and the financial loss of sex workers? Concerning the legal aspects of it...I dunno man. I don't work in legal. But I think we as a society are still figuring that part out.

I also think that technology will continue to improve, and the world as a whole will have to figure out how to live with it.

There is a loss of some as well as costs for legal issues.  Think of the issue during the SAG strikes but bigger.  But this post was after months of reading articles posted by a friend of mine that’s a lawyer.  The articles are looking at it from an international perspective.  I have my opinions which is very mixed. Just was curious of others.
