I've always enjoyed New Orleans. But I haven't been in years. During my younger years, if I couldn't make nola, I'd party in Biloxi/Gulfport/Pass Christian, MS.
For being so small, the Pass has GREAT parades! We used to drive over from Ocean Springs specifically to go to Pass parades!

I know, right? It seems the Pass has been the best kept secret for Mardi Gras.
I've neevr been to the actual NOLA Mardi Gras. . . and if this continues, I never will be. an old roommate lives there and he's invited me numerous times. Wish I hadn't always been so busy

And happy Marci Gras 2022! New Orleans is worse than ever, 3-5 murders daily in the city and getting worse every day. I pray for 2 of my kids daily that live and work in the city!
Thank goodness the other 2 are in better areas.
