I haven't had a true vacation since I was a kid. On May 4th to the 11th I'm going down to stay with my BFF, Whitney and finally spend time having fun. Hopeful see things like her local aquarium and zoo and she mentioned seeing wild manatees.

Wild Manatees? You must be going to Tampa Bay, Florida! That's my turf! If so, see if she can take you to St. Pete. I always enjoyed the night life out there.
I'm flying into St Pete. She is I think 40 min or 40 miles from that airport. Her car is not working. I got a rental. Mostly I'm going to leave the fun stuff up to her since I don't know the area but I want to do a few things. Like take her to a pet shop, watch a certain Disney/WB movie on Netflix and see wild alligators. Maybe take her dog to the beach and see him go crazy with joy. And treat her to sashimi, her favorite food.
Sashimi? You can't go wrong with Hooks on 9th N. Also, if you're into the best burgers, try Engine No 9 on MLK, or El Caps on 4th N. One more: Take her to Five Bucks Drinkery on Central and order her a Mac N Cheese Melt. If she isn't a beer drinker, order her a Cinnamon Toast Crunch (fireball whiskey)
Hooks Sushi and Thai? They have sashimi? I'll ask her once I'm down there. It would be at least a 50 min to- an hour drive.
Ok. One week. I'm excited. She sounds excited too.
She loves Baby Groot. Going to take her to see GotG2. She is so excited.
Having a great time with Whitney. I missed my bestie so much. So great to have fun and make up for lost time. She is my O'Hana.
