There was a period of time I didn't have a dance with Chelsea because I was dating someone. I had asked a friend if they thought it was okay to go, but they asked me if it would upset my gf, had she ever found out. Since I knew it would, I chose not to and I don't regret it. I can at least say that I'm a better person for it, but I DO regret not seeing CC when she came to a nearby club. That would have been within my legal rights of the relationship.
I also keep my fantasy and personal life separate, except with certain friends. It's always funny seeing their reaction for the first time. Too bad I never felt that my gf would have accepted some of the things I'm into, but you shouldn't let that stop you from merging the two worlds if that's something you feel you need to do. Just ask yourself the same question: Will it really upset her?
