Hey Tugboat, lemme ask you a question. I'm a type 1 diabetic, kinda like you, I guess. I keep hearing that diabetic folks are at risk. But you said it wasn't as bad for you, or others you know? I can't seem to get a good feel for how it's affecting the diabetic crowd.
I keep hearing that too. I'm a type 2, but my last A1C was 5.6 with minimal meds. I don't know anyone else that has type 2 or type 1 at the moment, so I can't say. My sister died the Day before her 21st birthday as a result of not taking care of herself with type 1, but that was also over 40 years ago too. A lot of things have changed and having type 1 is not as hard to control with modern science, I understand.
