1964 – 2000 Russ Meyer Movies & Autobiography
Russ Meyer, “King of the Nudies”, made the most god-awful movies this side of Ed Wood. However…they did have the redeeming grace of featuring some of the most spectacularly built women in the history of cinema. Lorna Maitland, Uschi Digard, Ann Marie, Kitten Natividad, Cynthia Myers, Shawn Devereaux, Raven de la Croix and so forth! For boob-hounds like me, they were must see movies. In 2000, Russ released his long awaited autobiography, “A Clean Breast”, a 3 volume set with thousands of photographs. I bought the set new for, I think, $50. Today, it can be purchased from Amazon for $293.30, marked down from $399.
