Reading all the comments here some people are in shock, this was always going to happen one day , and for mine it is 10 years later than I thought it may happen.
My take is (and I could be completely wrong), is that like any job that anyone has done for a longtime, you may grow tired of it, and in this case the Boobs are the job, & even though in
the early days you may enjoy the excitement of the adventure, the fame, the money in the end the endless travel, putting on a happy face, dare I say the over zealous fans etc etc wears you down, that what you loved
you ending up hating. With most of us this would mean changing job, for Chelsea this means a lot of ramifications. I have always thought the day Chelsea hangs them up, the reduction op etc will be a major thing. I also wonder
if the hate thing also is that Chelsea has gone on into her mid 40's & maybe a realisation that she would like a more normal life, husband kids etc , which was on of the reasons I thought by mid 30's the touring/[partying would have worn, and a settled
life may be what she wanted, but here we are some 10 years later.
All in all, Chelsea's decision, she has been a favourite of many, those that have met Chelsea would know, she was a nice person, friendly, well mannered and I wish her good health and a prosperous future.
PS The Uncle John mentioned above, is that Cubeman ?
PPS: I forget to mention, when things get tough with a job, most us can leave our baggage at work or at the door, Chelsea's case this was not possible, so for me another factor in wearing her down over time
