If it's a case of who goes furthest before running out of fuel on a motorway/highway run then that could be interesting (in a very mundane, boring kind of way).

If that was the case then I would lose terribly with my Land Rover. Gets about 15mpg on a good day, downhill with a tailwind and the Prius could probably out accelerate me two fold.

But it's a grand way to get there...

Plus it can crush my mostly plastic Clio like a gnat and keep on going...

Burning petrol is fun, shame it's so expensive, hence the downgrade from a Vectra SRI to the Clio! That and the insurance bill...
