I think the fan sign is a great idea. I has seen them done before and work out quite well. You can snap a pic holding a white board with the person's name or nickname with a I <3. You can post all the public ones on your blog and email the more shy sponsers.

If you wanted to do a I <3 forum.bearchive.co that would be cool too.

Another idea for the white board. Have it at top written "Kristi thinks..." Then person's name "is awesome" xoxo would make yours be branded.
