Oh course you her and her...uh...fighting skills. 
I was a faithful reader of the comic she is from Battle Chasers, created in 1998 by writer/artist Joe Madureira. The man that made famous the merger of manga and western style mainstream with his role on Xmen in the 90's.
As for her. Of all the comic book characters she is the one I'm most attracted to. And its not just case of her look but her attitude and overall being a bad ass. She so reminds me someone I'm very close to.
