What does the warning level mean in my profile?

it is something for the mods or admins if you did something bad like posting attacks on other uses posting explicit stuff etc instead of banning we can warn an user and if the number gets too high THEN we ban them or at least that is what I THINK it's for if another who knows more than me wants to chip in they can.

Before warnings were implemented, a moderator or administrator could ban anyone for any length of time for any reason. The warning system adds more structure. A user will get abc no of warnings before being banned, etc.
