how many pictures per post allowed?

How many pictures are now allowed per post? It keeps me telling 3 (also smilies counted against this - using three smilies means you can't post a picture). But obviously others can post more. Is this an individual limitations for certain people now like the 15 mins edit limit, while others still can?

by default (as of this posting mind you) 3 images (including smilies) per post and 2 attachments per post. but others have posted more I saw 5 Chelsea attachments in a post just yesterday. Unless another admin made a recent change that is how it is at the moment. I will get back to you on this.

I just posted 5 pics in a thread that were former attachments from my photo hosting site a few hours ago and had no issues. It could just be a glitch or a hiccup. I know the other day the forum would not let me update to my current avatar (said it was an invalid URL), tried many times. And I found a solution, log out of the forum and log back in. When I did this I was able to upload my avatar, so I would suggest logging out and logging in again and see if you get that error about the too many posts thing, get back to me when you can and we can go from there.

True. It was a few days ago when I first realize this. Maybe it's changed again.

well try as I said log out and back in and see if you still have that issue. you would be surprised how well that works when you have an issue with the forum.

I just did a test post with over 3 smiles and it did not give me any errors, so it may be as I said a hiccup in the software. I posted in the admin and mod forum about this so I will keep you updated andrat, thanks again.

Makes ZERO difference. Just posted an internal link to an attachement and tried to add 3 smilies to no success.

Post once with 2 attachments. Post a second time, immediately afterwards, with 2 more, and keep going. Then go in an click on "edit" and remove the breaks (BRs and Hs and HRs) and it appears to be one post with 6-10 attachments. If you embedded two images only per post, on 3 subsequent posts, you can usually also go in an edit out the breaks (BB Code but works similar to HTML5) and it will appear as though you have 6 images embedded.

That is how the default rules of the "My BB" bulletin board software tend to behave.
