Attending my first convention.
#1
Hello yaw. I'm happy to announce I'm going to get to go to my first convention. I have been to gem shows and once a tattoo show with my family to visit my aunt and uncle (they are in the tattoo and retro/glamour clothing biz)

But this will be my very first real convention. Only found out I was able to go on Tuesday after begging...I mean asking my boss for the time off sighting a real glitch in the scheduling software that I would have bee approved anyway but I wasn't until I told him. Had to wait till he got back from a business trip and got settled back in. Was the last minute.

But WOOT. I get to go. I have a hotel, prepared for the parking for the convention. (busy area) got my e-tickets. I leave on Friday. Its on Sat the 8 thur the 9th.

Oh forgot the type. Its a comic book convention.

If it works out I'll get to knock two things off my bucket list. Me a celebrity I'm a big fan of....Stan Lee.... and attend a convention.

Never truly got to Geek Out before. I see myself as a geek but never have the time/money to do geeky things. Just nerdy and dorky.

So anyone have any tips since this is my first convention. I'm still very shy and will be going alone. (all those I invited had plans. )

I'm back and it was so great. I'm very tired from the convention and long drive home. Will update with images later. I will say this. I got to met a lot of great people. Great creators. Cross two items off the bucket list. 1. Go to a convention. 2. Meet 3 people that I'm a fan of. (Stan "the Man" Lee, John Romita, and Brian Pulido [he created Lady Death. google her. She looks just like SaRenna. He was so nice and easy to chat with. ] and you can add a few more that I knew about but didn't read or see the work.

Yes I did meet Stan Lee. *faint* And heard him talk at a panel with John Romita. He is so funny. I have a picture of the two of use too. Hell Yeah.

Will say more about it later too. Lots of great cosplay. Some many of you will find very sexy. Also cool. There was this one I remember that made me wish I had another person to take a picture with her. I found her very attractive. A sexy Catwoman with high heels that must up made her over 6' and I didn't stare and my camera didn't take a good enough image but very nice breasts. Must have been over a 36DD and a very sexy female Loki with nice cleavage. Maybe later I should ask for BE requests to get some the very sexy enhanced.

It's great to hear you had fun. I've always been a fan of Stan Lee, probably the most famous name in the comic industry today. There is a great documentary about Stan on Netflix called, "With Great Power", very interesting. I'm also a big fan of Lady Death, been following her since the mid-90s or so. Always loved her bikini specials.

Just got back yesterday. Posting after my first real sleep since then. (had to work the next day. Sad )

Got to meet so many nice creators. Got my picture taken with Stan Lee. Autographs by John Romita and John Romita Jr. A panel with Stan Lee, John Romita and Mark Waid. (Stan Lee was so funny. He and John Romita made a lot of fun of Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.) Got John Romito Jr to autograph the graphic novel of Spiderman meets Barack Obama. And him and his father to autograph a exclusive Spiderman comic. Sr did the cover and Jr the pages. When Sr saw the Barack Obama GN he picked it up and said.
"did I draw this" I said "No that was your son" He said "good cause there is no way in hell I'm signing this." then he laughed.

Bought this exclusive art book just for the Baltimore Comic Con based on Liberty Meadows that had 20+ artists contribute pages of art for. I got all but 3 to autograph there art. 2 weren't there on the day I was going around and 1 the line was over 100 people lone and the guy was doing sketches for a price and autographs so it would have been hours and the place was closing in 1 hours. For getting at least 20 autographs I was given two original prints and I when and got the artists of prints to autograph them. One was Joseph Michael Linsner. Creator of Dawn. Never read the book but am a fan of his art work.

I got Frank Cho, Liberty Meadows creator to autograph the book. He did the cover and first page. He said I remined him of his favorite wrestler. the Deranged Mankind, Mick Foley. LOL

A big highlight besides meeting and getting my picture with Stan Lee was meeting and chatting with Brian Pulido. He was very nice. I was so suprise he and Frank Cho and Joseph Michael Linsner had no line to meet them. I got to really chat with them. I talk to Brian Pulido both days. Asked him about if Lady Death was based on anyone. It was a mix of Vampira, Elvira, and Marilyn Monroe. I thought it was SaRenna Lee and should him a picture. He admitted she looks just like her. I told SaRenna I met him and she wanted more pictures. So the next day I got him to hold a card that said "Hello SaRenna" He is a very nice guy.
And got him to autograph Lady Death vol 1 graphic novel. I got it at the show for $6

Lots of great costumes. I missed the costume contest. The line to see it was 3 or more blocks long. I would say 2 thousand people. Half way it filled up. twice the number of people then to see the panel with Stan Lee.

Will make up a album later in the week. I'm too tired to sort and post right now. Waiting till my days off. I work...lets just say Hell. And its very tiring. I wish Lady Death was there. LOL.

I looked through and sorted my images but I have a question before I post. I noticed in the background of some of them teenagers and kids. Do you think it be best if I block out them in the images. You know since this is a erotic site.

I don't think its a big deal. Maybe blur their faces. But, if the other folks are not the "subject" of the photo, then I don't think there is a problem.

To offer some insight, this is a community that concentrates on erotic material. It'd be a sad day if we started posting pictures of children here. Its one thing if children are in the background, just by-standing. But the direct contradiction would be to post something like ChristinaModel's earlier work, where she was dressed in lingerie, at the tender age of 14.

I like the blurred faces idea. I will look through them again and make sure. I like to play it safe. Not just for admins but in general.
