Try going out at 5:30 in the evening in SE Louisiana and cutting 3/4 of an acre with a walk behind mower. 97° and 96% humidity. That's the only drawback I can see to having all the kids grown and out of the house, I lost my built-in yard workers...LOL!
My wife hired a lawn service when I was out with my 2 shoulder surgeries last year and they about destroyed the siding on my shop and beat both condenser coils on the A/C units to death with string trimmers and their big zero turn mowers, so I'd rather do it myself!
