I've just posted a small bit of story for the Christmas season on my non-Revege blog:

It's called "Encounter".  There's not much there, yet, just the setting of the stage so far.  Will post more tomorrow night.

Pretty good!! I liked the positivity in it a lot.

There are a few typos... here's one paragraph, I hope you don't mind if I edit it up for you.

Inside, a great Christmas tree wth light whites towed nearly two stories high in the cathedral-like lobby. A cozy seating area replete with a roaring fire was to their left, a restaurant to their right and a bar just behind that. Directly ahead was the front desk and the two crossed the nearly empty lobby to check-in with the sole clerk on duty.

There will probably be quite a few type-Os. The story is being written directly from my brain to the blog. I didn't even have time to reread it as it was late and I needed to get to sleep for class the next day.

Fantastic work again, SB! I like the details you go into to really paint a mental image in every scene and how you attend to every detail and nuance. You really bring the reader with you. you could have a real future as a writer, professionally, in fiction. Or science fiction.

It's also surprising at how well you switch from writing from a man's point of view to a woman's. It's almost as if a woman is writing these stories at times,

It is a great story! Really well written. One 'have' instead of 'gave' is it for typos I could find. But a brilliant concept too!
